The purpose of the Urban Ecovillage Network is to engage urban neighborhoods throughout the world in the process of re-inventing how we live in cities, to be more ecologically, economically, and culturally sustainable.
We are primarily composed of projects in the Americas, and North America in particular, but we look forward to expanding that focus. We are happy to draw attention to the fact that a vibrant eco-barrio movement is underway in South America.
We invite you to explore the site, and specifically to join us in sharing and spreading these ideas which can change our communities, cities and world.
